New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady posted a copy on Facebook Thursday of the resume he thought he might need as the fifth round of the NFL draft rolled by in 2000.
He was selected in the sixth round by the Patriots.
“Found my old resume! Really thought I was going to need this after the 5th round. #tbt,” he wrote with the picture.

The resume details an internship and sales position, most likely jobs held during summers as Brady attended the University of Michigan, and also highlighted academic honors in 1996, 1997, and 1998.
Some of the 4.5 million fans of Brady’s Facebook page left him in no doubt of what he could add to jazz that resume up now.
“Now all your resume needs to say is Tom Brady...enough said,” one woman wrote.
“But instead you turned into the best damn qb the game has ever seen.... period,” another man wrote.
One man offered recommendations for the way Brady could update the resume. “You should probably update it now. 3-time Super Bowl Champion would look good on it. Ahhh, wait until after the season. You can add 4-time Super Bowl champion instead!”
Some people even took the opportunity to point out how their resume was close to Brady’s.
USA Today mentioned that Brady, like many recent college graduates, may have been padding his resume, and pointed to at least one example.
"For his Merrill Lynch internship: 'Exposed to upper-level management and corporate strategy' translates to 'Heard snippets of conference calls when I took everyone’s lunch order.'"
Whatever that resume lacks, it’s safe to say that an athlete touted as one of the best quarterbacks of all time won’t be needing to look for a job any time soon.
