Hillary Clinton had just settled on stage for the last night of her nationwide speaking tour with husband Bill Clinton in Las Vegas on Sunday when a man stood up and began yelling that she was going to jail.
Video footage of the incident was posted to Twitter by @DEPLORABLEHILL, a man who identifies himself as a Trump supporter and combat veteran. In the clip, the man can be heard shouting at Clinton during the opening stages of the evening.
"I’m a deplorable! I’m a deplorable! You’re going to jail, lady!" he yells. "You've all been deceived," he says to the audience.
The man, who was escorted out by security, drew a curt response from Hillary.
"We have some people who'd rather shout than talk and listen," she retorted, according to The Daily Mail.
Hillary appeared alongside husband Bill in an auditorium that was about two-thirds full. They reportedly struggled to fill to arenas for their tours and resorted to slashing ticket prices in order to boost attendance.
According to The Daily Mail, tickets to the Los Angeles leg of their tour saw seats selling for as little as $2. Tickets for their Las Vegas appearance were reduced to a tenth of their price in a desperate attempt to fill seats.
Regardless of ticket prices, Hillary's heckler, @DEPLORABLEHILL, was willing to fork out to attend the event in order to have his voice heard.
"I bought my ticket and I had a plan to let Bill and Hillary know that we weren't going to have them in Nevada uncontested. #MAGA," he tweeted.
The video clip received mixed reactions on social media. While some applauded him, others slammed his efforts.
