Popular country music artist Trace Adkins has entered a rehab center for drinking, fighting alcoholism again after being sober for 12 years, reported Country Weekly.
Country Weekly reported Adkin was taking part on a "Country Cruising" cruise ship when he decided to enter rehab.

TMZ reported Wednesday that Adkins, 52, got into a fight with an Adkins impersonator on the ship. The impersonator was doing karaoke when Adkins confronted the man.
The Associated Press reported Adkins has canceled his performances for the rest of the week-long cruise, which is slated to end Sunday, after it stops in Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Mexico. Norwegian Cruise Lines declined to comment to the Associated Press about Adkins Wednesday.
Wynonna, Montgomery Gentry and Love and Theft were among the country performers aboard the cruise.
Adkins' voice can still be heard on the Country Cruising website, welcoming patrons to the NCL Pearl for the cruise as of Thursday. The website made no announcement about Adkins' departure Thursday morning.
Fans paid from nearly $900 to $4,000 for the cruise with their country favorites.
In 2001, a family intervention forced Adkins into rehab for 28 days.
"I wish for anybody out there to never have to go through one of those intervention things where you sit down there and people start telling you what you're doing to them," Adkins said during a 2009 interview with Great American Country. "You're so weak that it's come to this. Man, I hated myself at that moment."
Adkins earned more than $1.5 million for the American Red Cross by winning the "Celebrity Apprentice" in 2013, according to Country Weekly. Adkins last month hosted the American Country Awards with NASCAR driver Danica Patrick.
Adkins has recorded the popular country hits "You're Gonna Miss This" and "Ladies Love Country Boys." A member of the Grand Ole Opry, Adkins made his movie debut in 2011's "The Lincoln Lawyer" with Matthew McConaughey.
