President Donald Trump's "meltdown" is being foreseen by an astrologer who said the upcoming solar eclipse will bring "life-changes" consequences to the life of the commander-in-chief.
Rebecca Gordon, resident astrologer for Harper Bazaar, said in the magazine last week that the Aug. 21 solar eclipse will happen at the same point in the sky as the star Regulus, which she claims is linked to Trump.
"Therefore, whatever happens to Regulus also happens to Donald Trump," Gordon said. "This solar eclipse, will expedite events in Trump's life and may augur life-changing consequences. Bill Clinton's destiny was also inextricably linked to Regulus."
Gordon said that every 19 years, the "eclipse family returns," bringing a recurrence of similar themes in the lives of those marked by Regulus, pointing out that Trump set up an exploratory committee for a possible presidential run on the Reform Party ticket 19 years ago.
"With this upcoming eclipse on Regulus, we can expect another year of dramatic upsets, revelations, and reversals for Trump, especially in August and the months ahead," Gordon said. "The upheavals that Trump has experienced thus far this year are possibly a consequence of what astrologers call the eclipse's 'foreshadow.'
"… But whether Trump will be brought down by these hidden truths, or raised up has everything to do with who Trump really is, what he actually has done, and how he responds to the challenge of this eclipse."
Former first lady Nancy Reagan created stir in 1988 when she admitted to Time magazine that she had consulted astrologers, the Huffington Post said. The first couple, though, would add that none of their decisions in the White House were based on the stars.
