Twizzlers Truck Crash on Pennsylvania Highway Spills Candy Everywhere

A tractor-trailer accident late Wednesday spilled Twizzlers candy across Interstate 70 in Pennsylvania, wasting candy but luckily causing only minor injuries to the truck driver.

KDKA reported the semi-truck swerved and hit a construction barrier between Arnold City and Fayette City exits in Westmoreland County.

The accident occurred about 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, and KDKA said fog may have contributed to situation.

Hundreds of boxes of Twizzlers, as well as loose candy packages, covered the highway after the accident, and it was shut down for several hours, UPI reported.
