A kitten with two faces and one body was born in Oregon Tuesday morning, but despite its odd appearance, the animal is perfectly healthy.
Owner Stephanie Durkee said the female kitten, named Deucy, has already had a trip to the vet and that everything appears to be in good working order.
"The kids actually found [the kitten] and came in and said, 'mom there's a kitty with two heads,' and I said, 'I think you guys are just tired, you're crazy, that doesn't happen,'" Durkee told Sky News.
Deucy was rejected by her mother so Durkee has been feeding her every two hours with a syringe and keeping her in a dresser drawer with a heating pad and towels.

Cats with two faces are called "Janus" cats, after the Roman god who had two faces. The congenital disorder is known as diprosopus, which occurs when parts of the head are duplicated.
In 2012, a Janus cat known as Frank and Louie made it into the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest-surviving Janus cat on record at 12 years old.
News of Deucy's birth stunned Twitter users.
