A New Jersey Uber driver unknowingly became the getaway driver for two murder suspects who allegedly dumped their victim's body then used the app to call for a ride to meet them a few feet away.

Kenne King, an Uber and Lyft driver of five years, had no idea his two passengers were wanted for multiple crimes that included the stabbing death of 51-year-old Divna Rosasco, who was reported missing by her husband last week, NJ.com reported.

He was stunned when police pulled the vehicle over at a parking lot near Overpeck Creek and arrested 19-year-old Nicolas Coirazza and an unidentified 14-year-old girl in the early hours of June 15.

"It's dark, it's deserted, it's night time," King told NJ.com. "It looks like it's nothing but office buildings. I see a police car with sirens on, maybe escorting another car out. I lower my window and I talk to the officer saying I'm an Uber, because it is a dark remote-ish area at that hour."

It turns out police were on the lookout for two murder suspects after earlier locating Rosasco's empty SUV abandoned six miles from her home, at Overpeck County Park, and discovered her submerged body in a creek at the park. King, who coincidently appeared as an extra in a TV show in which a body is found in a creek, was let off the hook after explaining the situation to officers.

"It's just weird for me where I'm seeing it on TV in a fictional show," he told NJ.com of his TV stint. "I'm just sitting here like, well, I picked up two killers in the creek. It feels weird that way, personally, because it's like . . . what the hell is going on in my life? They're completely unrelated . . . but what are the odds?"
