Photos from the wedding of George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin — along with her wedding dress — will appear this week in People and Hello! magazines.
Alamuddin wore a custom Oscar de la Renta French lace wedding gown, hand-embroidered with pearls and diamanté accents. Clooney wore a tux by Giorgio Armani and cufflinks given to him by Alamuddin with "George" inscribed in Arabic.
Clooney told People that marriage “feels pretty damn great.”
People and Hello! will share 25 photos from the ceremony and parties in Venice, Italy.
Alamuddin's mother, Baria, descried the event to People: "George and Amal radiated love all night. The wedding was so unbelievably special, it was legendary. These three days — the friends, the families, the atmosphere, everything — will stay with me all the rest of my life."
Guests reportedly included Matt Damon, Bono, Bill Murray, and Cindy Crawford.
The couple gave their guests iPods with songs they chose.
The magazines also published photos of the recent wedding of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
TMZ reported that the Clooney-Alamuddin wedding photos were auctioned, with the money going to Satellite Sentinel Project, a charity that montiors militant gangs in the Sudan.
