Wheel of Fortune contestant Emil de Leon has turned his amazing puzzle-solving skills into Internet and talk show F-A-M-E.
De Leon's guess of "New Baby Buggy," despite having just the letters "N" and "E" in the three-word phrase that was described only as a "thing," has gone viral on the Internet, and De Leon appeared on Friday's "Ellen Degeneres Show."
"It's all in the first letters: R-S-T-L-N-E," de Leon told host Degeneres and guest host Jason Bateman. "They showed up, the N and the E. It's pretty obvious the first word was new. Then [I] worked on baby. It just sounds right, right? 'New baby?' The hard part [was 'buggy']. I worked with that B again."

Every contestant receives "R, S, T, L, N, E" during the show's bonus round, and then asks for three more letters and a vowel. De Leon said "H, M, D, O," but received no additional help.
"You're a very good puzzle solver, but I don't know," host Pat Sajak said. "You have 10 seconds. Keep talking. Maybe the right thing will pop out. Good luck."
De Leon said "New baby buggy" on the first try, which of course was correct. The show's technicians delayed lighting up the board, likely because they also couldn't believe it, either. Sajak jokingly patted a shocked de Leon down, looking for some type of game-solving device before muttering, "I'm rather stunned."
For his effort, de Leon won $45,000, which brought his total winnings that day to $63,099.
De Leon told Degeneres that he's been watching Wheel of Fortune for "as long as I can remember, [since I was] maybe 3-4 years old. The first letter that I learned how to say were R-S-T-L-N-E. Those are the prominent letters in Wheel of Fortune."
He said that he gets the right answer "99 percent of the time" when he plays at home. To test him, DeGeneres and Bateman invited de Leon to play another round. He was given R-S-T-L-N-E to solve a 10-letter, two-word puzzle, with only N, R and S on the board.
The category was "Game," and de Lone selected four more letters: H, D, M and O. De Leon quickly wrote down the correct response.
