William and Kate are making a New York trip next month, which will mark the royal couple's first transatlantic trip since their post-wedding jaunt to Los Angeles three years ago.
The Mail on Sunday confirmed the three-day excursion and reported that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expected to bring along 16-month-old Prince George. The royals are expected to announce a new wildlife charity during the visit.
Kate Middleton, who is expecting her second child in April, has been cleared to travel to the U.S. after spending most of her early pregnancy ill with extreme morning sickness.
"Kate has never been to New York and she is really looking forward to it now that she is over her illness," a source told the newspaper.
The Duchess was forced to cancel multiple appearances and trips, including a September visit to Malta.
"She was upset she had to cancel her tour of Malta, but now she is over her morning sickness and really excited about America," another source said.
