Wilson Chandler, forward for the Denver Nuggets, caught a humongous fish on a recent outing in Jupiter, Florida.

Chandler caught the 350-pound Atlantic goliath grouper while filming a show with BlacktipH, an online big-game fishing show, The Washington Post reported.

"It literally had me off my feet for a few seconds. I knew he was a monster before I could even see it," Chandler told CBS Sports.

BlacktipH and Chandler shared stunning images of the catch online.

The episode featuring Chandler will appear Aug. 30, according to a teaser posted on Twitter.

The goliath grouper can grow to be up to 9 feet and 800 pounds, according to National Geographic.

The population of the fish species in southern Florida has been rebounding after it dwindled to unknown lows. At one point, it earned protected status as an endangered species, the magazine said.

Chandler, 29, missed last season because of an injury, but the NBA player is cleared to return to training next month, CBS Sports said.

The catch drew plenty of attention on Twitter.
