The world's tallest roller coaster was shut down after suffering an accident on its public debut.

Sandusky, Ohio’s Cedar Point Amusement Park closed its new Steel Vengeance ride Saturday after a coaster car that was returning from a ride bumped into another that was parked, according to Toledo, Ohio, newspaper The Blade.

Amusement park officials reported that Steel Vengeance was back in service Sunday.

Four passengers were removed by medical personnel, but later returned to the park, according to CBS News Philadelphia.

The coaster claims credit for capturing 10 world records, The Blade reported.

They include records for the tallest, at 205 feet; the fastest; and the longest steel-wood-hybrid roller coaster.

It also claims the steepest drop on a hybrid as well as the most stomach-dropping air-time of any roller coaster in the world — 27.2 seconds.
