The author of a controversial book that alleges wrongdoing within the Clinton family's foundation said Wednesday he has full-time security.
Peter Schweizer told Bloomberg he has retained security services when asked if he has received death threats over his book, "Clinton Cash."
"I'll just say we have security," Schweizer said near the end of the interview. "And that security is not something that just came because we decided to have security. And we'll just leave it at that."

When asked if he has that security full-time, Schweizer confirmed that is the case.
Schweizer's book will hit the shelves on May 5, although portions of it were released last week alleging corruption within the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation.
He claimed the foundation accepted donations from foreign nations while Hillary Clinton served as secretary of state from 2009-2013, and that at least some of those funds were used as leverage for State Department favors. The book also alleges the funds helped Bill Clinton get big speaking fees.
In interviews over the weekend, Schweizer said there is
no "direct evidence" his allegations are true, but there is enough to warrant further investigation.
The Clintons and their supporters have dismissed the allegations as false, but a report Wednesday showed the foundation
failed to disclose 1,100 foreign donations.
Hillary Clinton announced her candidacy for president more than two weeks ago, and so far she is the only Democrat in the race, although Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, an independent, said Wednesday he was going to run for the Oval Office on the Democratic ticket.
Some critics have said
Clinton's campaign is already coming apart over the "Clinton Cash" allegations and the ongoing scandal regarding her use of a private email address and private server during her time at the State Department.
