A social media backlash has hooted and howled at
President Barack Obama's odd claim that he's "the closest thing to a Jew that has ever sat in this office."
Obama adviser David Axelrod revealed the declaration in an interview for Israeli TV, saying the president also said "it hurts" for people to say "that I am anti-Israel, or, even worse, anti-Semitic,"
