Dr. Ben Carson and his USA First PAC are holding a teleconference on Wednesday night and Dr. Carson promises it will include "a big announcement."
An emeritus professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, best-selling author, and Newsmax blogger, Dr. Carson is a rising conservative star who is mulling a run for president in 2016.
In an email, he said: "I will be holding a special free Vekeo telephone event with supporters, and I'd really like you to join me.
"There are several things I'm hoping to talk with you about, particularly with regard to the upcoming election as I have a big announcement to make. As we get closer to election season, it's important that we stay in touch as much as possible, and Vekeo telephone events are a fantastic way to do that."
