A book about convicted abortion clinic doctor Kermit Gosnell is getting the snub from The New York Times best-sellers list – despite its popularity on other listings.
Since its release Jan. 24, "Gosnell: The Untold Story of America's Most Prolific Serial Killer," by Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer, was included on Amazon's best-sellers list and hit its "Hot New Releases" its first day of release, according to The Daily Signal.
The Times listed the book at No. 13 on the Feb. 12 edition of its combined print and e-book nonfiction list, but did not make the hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list, The Daily Signal reported.
Book's publisher Regnery Publishing – blasting the Times for snubbing the "pro-life book" – claimed it should have been the No. 4 best-selling nonfiction title.
"This book rose to No. 4 on Amazon without any coverage from the mainstream media," McAleer told The Daily Signal. "The irony is that the book is about how the mainstream media refused to cover Gosnell's murder trial. And even today, they're still being shamefully dishonest."
Gosnell, a Philadelphia doctor, was convicted in 2013 of killing three babies at his clinic.
