Donna Brazile on Friday admitted to forwarding questions to Hillary Clinton's team in March ahead of a Democratic primary town hall debate against Sen. Bernie Sanders, Fox News reports

Brazile, who was the interim Democratic National Committee chair and working for CNN as a correspondent at the time, initially declined the claims. She wrote Friday in Time magazine: “[I]n October, a subsequent release of emails revealed that among the many things I did in my role as a Democratic operative and D.N.C. Vice Chair prior to assuming the interim D.N.C. Chair position was to share potential town hall topics with the Clinton campaign. ... sending those emails was a mistake I will forever regret."

WikiLeaks revealed correspondence between Brazile and John Podesta, Clinton's campaign chairman, and in one email Brazile told Clinton Communications Director Jennifer Palmieri, “One of the questions directed to HRC tomorrow is from a woman with a rash."

“Her family has lead poison and she will ask what, if anything, will Hillary do as president to help the ppl of Flint,” Brazile wrote.

In another email dated Mar. 12, Brazile passed on a question about the death penalty: “From time to time I get the questions in advance.”

When Palmieri responded, Brazile wrote back: “I’ll send a few more.”

CNN and Brazile parted ways after WikiLeaks revealed the emails.
