Rep. Dan Meuser to Newsmax TV: LA Teachers Not Helping Reopen Schools

Rep. Dan Meuser, R-Pa., decried the Los Angeles teachers' union as an example of obstructionist attitudes seeking to undermine children returning to school after missing the past five months due to novel coronavirus outbreak.

Speaking to Newsmax TV, Meuser, who represents Pennsylvania's largely rural 9th Congressional District northwest of Philadelphia, suggested to "Spicer & Co." the United Teachers Los Angeles "research paper" setting guidelines for returning to school had nothing to do with schools reopening.
