President Donald Trump continued his concern for "out of control" shooting crime and murder rates in Chicago, tweeting Thursday evening, "Chicago needs help!"
Trump's tweet comes after seven were shot and killed and 13 more wounded Wednesday, marking the deadliest day in the city thus far in 2017, according to WGN-TV Chicago. There have been 90 murders already this year in Chicago and nearly 400 wounded, WGN reported.
It comes a month after Trump tweeted he "will send in the Feds" if "Chicago doesn't fix the horrible carnage."
Earlier last month, a Trump tweet recapped the dangerous situation in the city of Chicago from 2016 and challenged Mayor Rahm Emanuel to address the issue with his incoming administration.
Trump's criticisms of Chicago shootings and crime issues on Twitter have irked officials in the city and even from Republican lawmakers.
