Man Featured in Anti-Trump Ad Actually Voted for Him

An anti-Donald Trump ad featuring Sen. Elizabeth Warren attacking the presumptive Republican candidate contains images of a man who actually voted for Trump in the Massachusetts primary.

The man, Michael Levin, wrote an article in Politico describing his disbelief when he saw the MoveOn.org ad after a friend said he noticed him in the video.

Levin and his family appear in two clips, the first as he helps his daughter put on her bicycle helmet and the second as he and his wife, who is Chinese, stand in the driveway of their home.

In the Politico article, which explains his reasons for voting for Trump, Levin says, "All I ask, Senator Warren and MoveOn, is that the next time you want to appropriate the images of my daughter, my wife and myself, especially considering that I did vote for the very candidate you so gleefully trash in the video, you come and ask me first."

However, Levin told "Fox & Friends" that he has also not received a call from Warren or her staff apologizing for the error after it was revealed.

Levin said that the video used in the ad originally aired on an Al Jazeera special a few years ago about the American Dream, after he gave the television network permission to film his multi-racial family. He said that the makers of the anti-Trump ad probably looked on YouTube under "American Dream" to take images they thought would be appropriate.

In an additional irony, Levin said his daughter seen in the video actually came with him to the voting booth when he cast his ballot for Trump.
