A Palm Beach Lakes High School teacher was suspended from school on Thursday after he attempted to give his students a "wholly inappropriate" final exam question about presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump, the
Palm Beach Post reports.
Malik Leigh, an attorney who teaches at the school's law academy, asked students if Trump was to be elected as president, would that leave them "screwed" or "screwed behind a really YUGE wall that Mexico pays for."
In a letter to Leigh, principal Cheryl McKeever called the proposed final exam "wholly inappropriate for the Law Academy class," reports the Post.
Leigh defended the question/answers, telling the Post: "They're just grasping at straws at this point. To me, it was a funny question."
One other proposed exam question by Leigh about courtroom procedure, asking what to do during an opening statement:
A. Wink at the judge
B. Find the hottest person on the jury and focus your words on them
C. Speak to them as if they are cordial friends
D. Treat them like the MORONS they are
Leigh and McKeever have been embroiled in a legal dispute over the school's decision to not bring back Leigh and other teachers next year, the Post reported.
