Hillary Clinton will be the headline speaker at Yale University’s commencement weekend in May, The Hartford Courant reported.
Clinton, the former Democratic presidential candidate, got her juris doctor at Yale in 1973. Former president Bill Clinton, her husband, graduated from Yale Law School that same year.
The former secretary of state will speak on May 20 at 2 p.m., the report said.
Yale frequently invites statesmen and stateswomen to speak to its graduating class. Recent commencement speakers include former United Nations ambassador Samantha Power in 2016, former Vice President Joe Biden in 2015, and former secretary of state John Kerry in 2014, The Courant reported.
