Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Thomas Homan issued a warning to MS-13 members — "My gang is bigger."
In an interview with The Daily Caller, Homan pledged to wipe out the near 10,000 gang members spread out in 40 states.
"We're taking this seriously. My gang is bigger than theirs and we are going to take them out," Homan told the DC. "That's the goal. The president supports that. We're going to follow through on the president's promise and we are going to take out MS-13 as much as we can."
Homan said last month that MS-13 "will be gone pretty soon."
ICE has arrested more than 350 MS-13 gang members and deported 2,800 of them in fiscal year 2017, the DC reported.
Homan is a holdover from the Obama administration who has been the subject of recent back-and-forth with the head of the ICE officers union over his stances on immigration now vs. then.
