Jeb Bush: 'The Greatest Human Being I'll Ever Know'

Former Republican presidential candidate and Florida Gov. Jeb Bush praised his father following the announcement of former President George H.W. Bush's death late Friday night.

"I already miss the greatest human being that I will ever know," Jeb Bush wrote. "Love you Dad!"

Family sources announced the 41st U.S. president's death in a statement issued by his oldest son, former President George W. Bush, late Friday.

The family described the family's patriarch “as a man of the highest character and the best dad a son or daughter could ask for.” No cause of death has been given. He was 94 years old.

His wife, Barbara Bush, died in April after the couple celebrated 73 years of marriage.
