Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany has joined Fox News as a contributor after all, it was announced on the network Tuesday.
"And it is my distinct pleasure today to welcome Kayleigh McEnany to the Fox family," anchor Harris Faulkner said on Fox News' "Faulkner Focus." "We will be seeing much more of her in the future."
McEnany had previously been reported to have planned on joining the network in January, but Fox News had to issue a brief statement denying that.
The report came from a financial disclosure that she submitted exiting the White House, listing Fox News as a future employer.
Instead of having started in January, McEnany has now begun as a contributor at the beginning of March. She had previously worked as a CNN contributor and was a former Republican National Committee spokeswoman before becoming former President Donald Trump's last press secretary last spring.
