Two NBA teams based in Los Angeles, the Lakers and the Clippers, voted Wednesday to boycott the rest of the playoffs in the wake of a police shooting in Wisconsin.

According to journalist Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Lakers and Clippers were the only two teams that voted for the boycott.

"Sources: The Lakers and Clippers have voted to boycott the NBA season. Most other teams voted to continue. LeBron James has exited the meeting," Charania tweeted.

He added, "Sources: Miami's Udonis Haslem spoke and essentially told everyone in room that — without Lakers and Clippers, how will season continue?

"LeBron James walked out. Rest of Lakers and Clippers exited behind him."

All NBA games Wednesday night were canceled after the Milwaukee Bucks boycotted their game against the Orlando Magic to protest a police shooting of a Black man that left him paralyzed. After a scuffle, the man tried to get back into his car, at which point a white officer shot him seven times.

Police said a knife was discovered on the floorboard of the vehicle.

The shooting occurred Sunday.
