Okla. Man Charged With Threatening to Behead Co-Worker

By    |   Monday, 29 September 2014 04:52 PM EDT

Just one day after an Oklahoma man was arrested for the beheading of a co-worker and a stabbing attack on another, a Kenyan native, also in Oklahoma and also alleged to have claimed to be a Muslim and supporter of the Islamic State (ISIS), was arrested and charged with threatening to behead a fellow worker.

Jacob Mugambi Muriithi, 30, a nursing home worker, is being held on $1 million bail in the Oklahoma County Jail for telling a female co-worker that he intended to cut off her head "with a blade," NewsOK reported.

An arrest affidavit filed in the case alleges that Muriithi told the woman that he "represented ISIS and that ISIS kills Christians," the report says.

"The victim said Jacob asked her what time she got off work, and she replied by asking him in a joking manner if he was going to kill her.

"Jacob told the victim, 'Yes,' he was going to cut her head off. The victim asked Jacob what he was going to cut her head off with, and he said, 'a blade,' then told her after he did it he was going to post it on Facebook.

"The victim said Jacob was serious when speaking and never made any statements that he was joking or playing around," Breitbart News reports.

On Thursday, Alton Nolen, 30, who also calls himself Jah'Keem Yisrael and reportedly is a recent convert to radical Islam, was arrested and charged after he was fired from his job and allegedly decapitated Colleen Hufford, 54, and repeatedly stabbed Tracy Johnson, 43, at the Vaughan Foods processing plant in Moore, Okla., before Mark Vaughan, the company's president and a reserve deputy sheriff, shot him, the New York Post reported.

When Muriithi was asked why he intended to behead the woman, the woman says he replied, "This is just what we do," Breitbart News reported.

"We take these threats very seriously," Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater told the Post.

Chillingly, a senior Islamic State leader recently called on worldwide supporters to attack Westerners in the same manner as the deadly Oklahoma attack and Muriithi's threatened attack.

"Do not ask for anyone's advice and do not seek anyone's verdict. Kill the disbeliever, whether he is civilian or military, for they have the same ruling. Both of them are disbelievers. Both of them are considered to be waging war," Breitbart News reported the ISIS leader as urging.

"Rig the roads with explosives for them. Attack their bases. Raid their homes. Cut off their heads. Do not let them feel secure. Hunt them wherever they may be. Turn their worldly life into fear and fire. Remove their families from their homes and thereafter blow up their homes."
