Palin: ICE Employee's Hate Website 'Unflipping-believable'

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin took to Facebook Thursday to slam a racially-charged website operated by a Homeland Security employee, calling it "Unflipping-believable."

"So, the Federal Government, er, We The People, are employing someone at the Department of Homeland Security whose side job is running a hate website advocating ethnic cleansing and other despicable acts?!" Palin posted late Thursday, according to The Huffington Post.

"Unflipping-believable," she added.

The Associated Press, citing an unidentified Homeland Security official, reported Friday that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) employee Ayo Kimathi is allegedly operating a website that advocates a race war.

"War on the Horizon (WOH) is a Haitianist organization created for the purpose of preparing Black people worldwide for an unavoidable, inevitable clash with the white race," according to the website cited by the AP.

The AP story reported that Kimathi is "an acquisitions officer" for ICE "responsible for purchasing handcuffs, guns and other law enforcement equipment and services."

"While many of the postings on Kimathi's site are inflammatory, it was not immediately clear whether they cross the legal threshold into unprotected hate speech, and the posts may not violate DHS policies if he does not curate the website at work or espouse the ideologies in the office," the AP reported.

An ICE spokewoman told the wire service that the agency "does not condone any type of hateful rhetoric or advocacy of violence of any kind against anyone." But she did not say whether investigation into the website was underway.

But in her Facebook posting, Palin wrote that Kimathi's website was approved by supervisors. She added, "His fellow employees say they're 'astounded' he is employed by the taxpayers."

"Friends, let your government know we deserve better; we demand better. We're paying the tab," Palin wrote.

In an interview Friday morning on "Fox & Friends," J. Christian Adams, a former Justice Department attorney, also criticized the employee's website as "outrageous." Adams was a whistleblower who called out his own department over its failure to prosecute a racial case involving the Black Panthers.

"This is outrageous that somebody who's in charge of buying weapons and ammunition for the federal government to keep the homeland safe, wants to kill white people, and is perfectly fine with broadcasting it to the world," Adams said.
