Singer-songwriter Paul Anka is rewriting the lyrics to his song "My Way," and will perform the rewritten song at Donald Trump's inauguration on Jan. 20, Radar Online reports.
The singer, 75, wrote the English lyrics to "My Way" for Frank Sinatra.
"Now Paul has rewritten those lyrics especially for Donald Trump, which he will perform during the inaugural dance for Donald and his lovely first lady Melania," the source said.
The new lyrics to the song will not be revealed until Anka's performance.
"Paul won't let the cat out of the bag or reveal his new lyrics yet, but (the lyrics) will be tailor-made for Trump… and it will be huge," the source told Radar.
"While everyone else was running scared from performing at the inauguration, Paul stood fast. He wasn't about to be intimidated by anyone," the source said.
A number of performers have said they turned down offers to perform at the event, including "Beautiful Mind" soundtrack singer Charlotte Church, as well as Elton John, Celine Dion, Garth Brooks, and the rock group Kiss.
Performers set for the event include the Rockettes, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and "America's Got Talent" singer Jackie Evancho.
Anka also wrote the theme music to "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson" and pop songs such as "She's A Lady."
