MSNBC Primetime Special Ratings Top CNN's McCain-Graham Town Hall

MSNBC's two-hour special "The Trump/Putin Power Play" came in ahead of CNN's Town Hall featuring Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham in both total viewers and among the adult 25-54 demographic, according to Nielsen ratings, the network announced.

The primetime special, airing on Wednesday opposite the CNN event, featured Brian Williams and Chris Matthews who were joined by Andrea Mitchell, David Remnick and several Capitol Hill leaders and specialists on U.S.-Russia relations. NBC's Richard Engel also joined in the broadcast live from Moscow.

In addition, "11th Hour with Brian Williams," defeated CNN in both total viewer and in the 25-54 demographic.
