It may never rival the Oprah Winfrey Network, but former Texas congressman Ron Paul is launching his own round-the-clock television channel, promising all Paul, all the time.
"The future of the media is in our hands!" touts a teaser for the Ron Paul Channel, which will stream at ronpaulchannel.com and be accessible on computers, tablets, and smart phones.
The site's homepage asks supporters to sign up to "be the first to know the details on the full launch . . . coming this summer. Sign up to get exclusive discounts, sneak peeks of content, and more."
It also promises viewers the opportunity to interact with 77-year-old Paul, who ran for president three times as Republican and Libertarian Party candidate, and is the father of Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, who make seek the GOP nomination in 2016.
"This project provides us a wonderful opportunity to spread the message of liberty," Paul says in a promotional video on the site.
The network bills itself as an "exclusive channel to the truth" and touts the slogan, "Turn off your TV. Turn on the truth."
It promises to feature "breaking news stories, interviews with influential headliners, and hard-hitting reporting."
