The yearbook for the graduating class at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School includes a page dedicated to therapy dogs after the animals helped survivors of the 2018 deadly shooting there cope with the tragedy.
Called The Aerie, images of the yearbook have circulated on social media in recent weeks. Earlier this month, the yearbook staff posted an image of the page, which had several dogs posing for the camera at the Parkland, Florida school.
This week, the staff posted another photo of the book, this time showing a therapy dog named Chief laying down with the yearbook on his feet.
"We love that Chief loves his yearbook! Make sure to find him to sign it. ❤️" the tweet reads.
The Hill reported on the yearbook news.
On Feb. 14, 2018, a student walked into the school with a high-powered rifle and killed 14 students and three staff members. Seventeen other people were injured in the massacre.
