Novelist Stephen King: Impeach Trump

Novelist Stephen King said he believed it was time to look into impeaching President Donald Trump after the president fired FBI Director Jim Comey, who was leading a probe looking into possible ties between Russia and Trump's presidential campaign.

On Wednesday, King tweeted:

Donald Trump: A remarkable combination of unhinged and dumb as dirt. Time to start talking impeachment. Really. Enough is enough.

The tweet has been retweeted over 31,000 times and shared more than 82,000 times.

King, author of horror bestsellers "The Shining," "It," "The Dead Zone," and "Under the Dome," has frequently criticized the Trump.
