America's "sloppy" voting system needs an upgrade, election fraud expert John Fund said, noting even Mexico's election systems are more advanced and pointing to "massive voter fraud" in North Carolina.
"There's a massive voter fraud investigation going on in North Carolina," Fund told "The Cats Roundtable" host John Catsimatidis on AM 970 in New York. "Apparently in one county there was an absentee-ballot organized campaign.
"There were also lots of irregularities in some other counties. I think there's going to be a recount. There's probably going to be litigation in the courts. The people of North Carolina still don’t know who their governor is."
Fund, author of "Who's Counting? How Fraudsters and Bureaucrats Put Your Vote at Risk," said America's "sloppiest voting system in the industrialized world" is even behind Mexico, which now uses advanced voter ID cards.
"It's so sloppy you can't tell where the incompetence in an election system ends in some states and where the fraud might begin," The National Review columnist and former Wall Street Journal editorial board member told Catsimatidis.
"The bottom line, John, is we need to improve our election systems to improve confidence and the integrity of our results."
